We would like to extend a very warm welcome to all of you who hold an offer for Laurus Ryecroft Sixth Form. As the only secondary school with an integral Sixth Form in Tameside, we offer something different for the young people of Greater Manchester and we are delighted that you want to join our supportive community.
For those of you who could make it, we hope you found our Induction Day useful. All of our staff enjoyed meeting you! Registration will take place on GCSE Results Day, Thursday 20th August 2026.
We hope that you will find the information below useful in answering any questions you may have. There will be a full induction in September. In the meantime, we hope you have a relaxing and enjoyable summer break. See you soon.

Registration Day Information
You can register for Laurus Ryecroft Sixth Form on GCSE Results Day, Thursday 20th August 2026.
Here are the registration times:
Internal Applicants
8.30am – 10.00am
External Applicants
10.30am – 12.30pm
Confirmation of Place
Late Afternoon
If you do not currently attend Laurus Ryecroft you will need to bring the following with you:
- Your paper GCSE results statement
- Photographic ID (original document, not a photocopy) that contains your date of birth (ideally a valid passport)
- If you do not have a British passport, please bring evidence that you can live and study in the UK.
